Report on the Human Pathogens and Toxins Regulations Consultation

The Centre for Biosecurity recently completed a thematic consultation to help shape potential changes to the Human Pathogens and Toxins Regulations (the Regulations). We were pleased to receive responses from a broad range of partners and stakeholders, including individuals and organizations. They provided insight from a number of perspectives, including:

•        regulated facilities
•        professional associations
•        consumer and industry organizations
•        provincial, territorial and municipal governments

In keeping with the Government of Canada's commitment to greater transparency and accountability, we published a ‘What we heard' report. This report summarizes the feedback and outlines how this information will be used to shape the development of amendments to the Regulations.
