PHAC Training Portal

The Centre for Biosecurity is excited to announce the launch of the new and improved PHAC Training Portal. The portal now includes a more modern, graphical interface. It is more accessible and mobile-device friendly. One of the requirements of any containment laboratory in Canada is to have a training plan for their employees including scientists, technicians, students, maintenance staff, security and authorized visitors. This webinar will provide an overview of what a training needs analysis is, how to create one, and considerations for the training plan. It will bring more clarity to the section 4.2 of the Canadian Biosafety Standard, Third edition.

This webinar will provide a short demonstration of the PHAC Training Portal as well as information on the various apps and resources to support stakeholders in complying with the HTPA/R.
