With the increased accessibility to life sciences research, many students are experimenting with microbiology-based projects at a younger age. The Centre for Biosecurity wants to encourage kindergarten to grade 12 teachers to introduce biosafety and biosecurity in the classrooms to ensure teachers and students work with microorganisms safely. We are working on developing grab-and-go resources to allow for the easy teaching of these topics in your classrooms.
