The Public Health Agency of Canada will be hosting a two-part webinar series dedicated to the CBS3. The first webinar will provide an overview of key changes in the CBS3 from the previous edition, project milestones, and highlights from the public consultation. 


This webinar will provide an overview of monkeypox virus (MPXV), information from the biosafety advisory, and biosecurity considerations for working with MPXV.

Target Audience: External stakeholders planning to, or currently working with, MPXV

All licenced facilities are required to develop and implement a biosecurity plan to outline the security measures designed to prevent the loss, theft, misuse, diversion, or intentional release of pathogens and toxins from a facility. This interactive webinar will serve to explain the nine components that need to be included in a biosecurity plan and will provide examples of what the Public Health Agency of Canada looks for when evaluating a plan.
