Biosafety and Biosecurity Officers:
In most IEGBBR member countries, oversight systems mandate that each organization appoint a biological safety officer (or equivalent). While their qualifications and training vary, these officers generally develop and implement biosafety and biosecurity practices and coordinate with the national regulatory authority.Biosecurity risk assessments:
