Question: Moodle entry page won't load. What can I do?

Answer: Make sure that you are using the following address and are not clicking on a link or a bookmark.

Type the following directly in your browser: publichealth.gc.ca/training.

You could try using a different browser. For example, if you are currently using Internet Explorer, you could try using Firefox. If a different browser works then you have narrowed the problem down to Internet Explorer.

If no Public Health Agency of Canada pages, such as the Public Health Agency of Canada's main page, work then there is likely a larger connection problem between your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and the Agency. Contact us by filling out the Online Support Form.

Question: What information was transferred to the new portal?

I had an account on the previous Biosafety eLearning and Training Resources and/or Emergency Preparedness and Response portals.

Answer: Your username has been set to your email address by default and your name has been automatically populated in your profile.

Only those courses which were completed to 95% or above have been recognized in the new portal and your certificate is available. Please note that, if the course has been updated and as a result has undergone significant changes, you will need to complete the new course to obtain a certificate.

Question: How may I start a course?

Answer: All courses that you have access to can be launched via the Courses link.

You can enrol to courses in this area, if they are available to you, simply by clicking on the course name. Once you are enrolled, the link will change from a subscription link, to a course launching link. This is the link you will use to launch the course.

Question: How may I view and/or change my personal information or password?

Answer: All of your personal and profile information can be found by clicking the My Profile link.

You may also change your password from this area.

Question: Who do I contact for support?

Answer: If you have questions or comments about the course content, the portal or technical issues, please use the Contact Us link.
